Booklet Recap: Women in the Wilderness: Charting a New Path Forward
In November 2012, women voted for Obama by a solid 11-point margin, following their faith in government security.
"There's a reason the topic of how to reverse this trend, and open more women to supporting the cause of liberty, commanded such attnetion: The future of our republic depends on it."
This winter the Independent Women's Forum's Women in the Wilderness event, that drew a standing room only crowd of people, looked at how to reverse this trend and better explain that economic liberty and limited government benefit women. Our distinguished panel of guests and moderator, Christina Hoff Sommers, Sabrina Schaeffer, Karlyn Bowman, Veronique de Rugy, and Mollie Hemingway, provided a quality discussion to begin the process of charting a new path forward -- getting out of the wilderness -- and set an agenda for the next four years -- and beyond.
