Presidential pal and frequent White House visitor Jay-Z has rapped about his recent controversial trip to Havana:

“I done turned Havana into Atlanta,” Jay-Z raps in “Open Letter,” which he released Thursday. “[…] Boy from the hood, I got White House clearance… Politicians never did s—- for me except lie to me, distort history… They wanna give me jail time and a fine. Fine, let me commit a real crime.”

He later raps: “Hear the freedom in my speech… Obama said, ‘Chill you gonna get me impeached. You don’t need this s—- anyway, chill with me on the beach.’”

Of course, this is deeply offensive in addition to being vulgar and ungrammatical.

U.S. policy restricts travel to Cuba unless approved by the government.

In the–er–lyrics, Jay-Z implies that the president helped him get to Cuba.

The Treasury Department told Politico that it had approved a “cultural learning” trip for a group that included J-Z and his wife, Beyonce, another White House insider. The department said it had not asked for a list of members of the group and had not known in advance that the couple was among them.

I do wish our president would make some new friends.
