Technology is expanding freelance opportunities through the gig economy.
 
Some lawmakers want to reclassify independent contractors as employees.
 
This would kill the gig economy and independent jobs.
 
California’s new AB 5 law has already put many independent contractors out of work.
 
They are speaking out.
 
The U.S. House of Representatives just passed the PRO Act, which would impose this bad policy nationwide.
 
Freelancers know there’s a trade-off: guaranteed pay & benefits for flexibility & freedom. They want to be independent.
