Al Gore is back in the news both for a new campaign to urge action on global warming and because of speculation that he could swoop in at the last minute to become the Democrats' nominee. The prospect of Al Gore displacing both Sens. Clinton and Obama seems far-fetched to me, although smart people I know insist he would be tough to beat as a candidate. It seems to me his candidacy would be doomed, but it might be what is needed for people to take a second look at his global warming propoganda and return the debate to a serious look at the facts about climate change.

As much as we would LOVE to see Al Gore become president we would have to consider how powerful he could be in stopping the war with Iraq. Saving the environment and finding other energy and fuel solutions could be enough to end the war, but is it? If it is, let's vote him in!
