A group of environmentalists vandalized a Trump golf course in California, digging up grass to spell out “No More Tigers, No More Woods” in six-foot letters Sunday.

The green vandals spoke anonymously to the Washington Post, saying that their destruction of the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes “felt justified.”

“Repurposing what was once a beautiful stretch of land into a playground for the privileged is an environmental crime in its own right,” one of the vandals said. In a statement, the group also decried Trump’s “recent decision to gut our existing protection policies” and his “blatant disregard” for the environment.

The vandals provided video of their stunt to the Washington Post. It shows four people with shovels scaling a fence at dawn, running down the golf course, and carving the letters into the grass.

The group also spoke anonymously to Eyewitness News in California, describing how the fifth hole was chosen because it was “the most picturesque” part of the golf course.

Trump’s Rancho Palos Verdes golf course has repeatedly been targeted by protestors. In February, the Hollywood Reporter described watching a woman scrawl “puto” in dark lipstick on the golf club’s sign, calling it “a human statement.” Moments earlier, someone peed in the shrubbery. And the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department also told the publication that there had been “numerous incidents” at the golf club.
