Working closely with all areas of the organization, Ms. Pomeroy's main responsibility is to promote IWF's experts and policies in the national and international media. Before joining IWF, Ms. Pomeroy spent two years in Aspen, Colorado, working as media director for the Silver Lining Foundation, a camp for children with cancer that was founded by former tennis champion Andrea Jaeger. Prior to that, Ms. Pomeroy spent seven years working in public relations for the Heritage Foundation as well as for Shirley & Banister Public Affairs in Alexandria, Virginia. Pomeroy specializes in marketing, Web marketing, public relations, and book promotion.  While working at Shirley & Banister Public Affairs, Ms. Pomeroy promoted such authors as former Attorney General Ed Meese, former Congressman J.C. Watts, former Labor Secretary nominee Linda Chavez, and former speechwriter to President George Bush, David Frum.  Ms. Pomeroy holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
